Pass the Parasol

30 Jul

It may be the end of the July, but this Seattlite is squeezing every splash of sunshine I can out of this summer.   Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, we really have to earn our summers.  Take for example this week, the forecast calls for mid-70’s all week.  Fabulous right?!  What the forecast does not tell you is that the mornings will start out dreary and overcast with a high of about 57 until late afternoon.  Welcome to a Seattle summer.

To celebrate this fabulous season and the unpredictability of a summer in the Northwest, I’m sharing my latest summer obsession.  I was reintroduced to this beauty last weekend at a local fair when my little princess needed shade from the blistering heat.  A mere $4.00 and and an obsession later, I give you the parasol.  Whether dangling in a drink or shading from the sun, the parasol oozes Arm Candy.

I used IdoOriginals for my wedding parasol and it was gorgeous! Handmade and a fabulous keepsake after the big day 🙂

What a fantastic way to keep the summer love alive! Kids are starting school and we are starting to see lots of holiday items in the stores but summer is still here. You have created a great blog.

    Best wishes and God bless!
